Known for her dedication to fitness, Jacqueline Fernandez opened up about her workout routine, the importance of weight training, her approach to healthy eating, and more. Here’s a glimpse into their yoga session.
Jacqueline Fernandez Reveals Her Workout Routine
Before getting started, Kamiya asked Jacqueline Fernandez about her usual workout routine. “I love to target three days a week of weight training, it covers the upper body, back, and lower body. Then, I try to fit in about four times a week of yoga, and sometimes I might do pilates as well, since I don’t want to leave it out completely,” the actress shared.
Before they began the yoga session, Jacqueline Fernandez added that the duo had to do a little prep, something she does in the mornings–Om chanting. “This is going to help us relax our minds because first thing in the morning, you have so much cortisol in your body. So, we have to release that and become calm,” she explained.

Conscious Decision To Incorporate More Weight Training
After the conversation about workout, a few Om chants and a quick warm-up, Kamiya and Jacqueline Fernandez began their yoga session with Surya Namaskar. Following a few rounds, the actress suggested adding weights to their asanas, prompting Kamiya to ask if incorporating weights into a yoga session was a normal practice.
“Honestly, I’m making a conscious effort to do more weights, especially this year as I turn 40. They are actually anti-ageing, by the way. Now, I know a lot of people are going to laugh at me for saying that, but it’s very important to start, especially when you’re getting older. This is something you really need,” Jacqueline Fernandez explained the need for weight training.
