On January 17, District Arena in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, witnessed an unstoppable energy. The legend Sunidhi Chauhan hit the stage for her much-awaited ‘I Am Home Tour’. A night of nostalgic Bollywood hits, ghazal renditions, and bold, unapologetic dance performances left the 18,000 attendees chanting her name in hordes. Just pure, electric energy gripped the arena as we watched Sunidhi’s powerful vocals serenade us, and her sheer raw energy took us aback.

The spellbinding ‘I Am Home Tour’ in Bengaluru was organised by WhatsOnBae and ABP Network in collaboration with NewBi Entertainment. That Sunidhi Chauhan is a powerhouse of talent, we know. But her concert transcending into a core memory is not what we fathomed.

With over 20 years of experience in the music industry, Sunidhi is more than a playback singer. She is a performer, dancer, and a magician who creates wizadry with her vocals the minute she sets foot on stage.

Over the 3 hours, we grooved to the hits that raised us—Ishq Samundar, Mahiya, and Dhoom Machale—sang along to the ones we forgot (Voh Tere Mere Ishq Ka), and, of course, danced the night away to the songs that still top our playlists (Ainvayi Ainvayi, Sheila Ki Jawani, Crazy Kiya Re).

A Night Of Bollywood Classics, Ghazals & ’90s Vibes

Our fellow revellers were taken aback by Sunidhi Chauhan’s energy as she expertly hit the high notes, twirled and danced along without skipping a beat. With over 20 years, 22 awards and 2500 songs in her kitty, we witnessed a legend right in front of us. Unstoppable and untamed is how we’d describe the show. It’s live music the way it’s meant to feel.

We found ourselves swayed with emotions as she crooned to Lae Dooba. When Sunidhi sang the Coke Studio hit Ghar Aao Na, we couldn’t help gasping at how melodious she sounded. One moment, we were doing the hookstep to Desi Girl as confetti fell from the skies, another, we swung our hands up as the romance-filled Te Amo changed the mood of the evening.

A key moment of the live was when the Kannada chartbuster Kunnidu Kunnidu Baare took us back to our childhood. But what brought us back to 2026 was the Sanya Malhotra-starrer Aankh.

Like Gen Z, we would christen Sunidhi Chauhan as “Mother”. The Bengaluru concert slapped, and has become a core memory. So, the next time this Bollywood legend is touring in your city, we’d nudge you to stop everything you’re doing and sign up for the high-octane Bollywood night!
