Kapil has been a household name for over a decade, making people laugh and bringing families together with his humour. Interestingly, Kamiya and Kapil share a special connection.
A little over two years ago, Kamiya interviewed Kapil for a special episode of Tere Gully Mein, which was shot in Amritsar. Kapil took her around to his favourite local food joints, giving fans a taste of his hometown. This time, things were different, as Kapil invited Kamiya to his own show, and she was one of the few well-known podcasters to join him for a super fun episode.
Sharing her joy on Instagram, Kamiya posted some beautiful pictures from the episode and wrote, “Made it to Netflix. More importantly, made it to The Great Indian Kapil Show. Because in India, you haven’t really made it until you’ve sat on that iconic couch and been roasted by Kapil Sharma himself. Truly honoured to be the only woman podcaster on the panel amidst some amazing folks. What you saw was just one hour, but what we lived was five hours of non-stop laughter, madness, and pure joy. Thank you for all the love. This was honestly a dream debut on Netflix.”
