Bengalureans, get ready! An 11-day flower show is all set to take place at Cubbon Park in Bengaluru. The theme will blend Children’s Day and Karnataka Rajyotsava. There will be beautiful floral installations, cultural programmes and much more. It is scheduled to start from November 27 and will go on till December 7. The Department of Horticulture will organise a flower show at Cubbon Park in Bengaluru. The show, which will run for 11 days, will start on November 27 and continue till December 7. These days will give you plenty of time to see the flower show. As per a report by The Hindu, the Horticulture Department has allocated nearly ₹40 lakh for this 11-day event. It will also be modelled on the famous annual Lalbagh Flower Show. An X user, @pri_rao, posted an image of the flower show at Cubbon Park from 2015 on their account.
The theme at Cubbon Park will blend Children’s Day and Karnataka Rajyotsava. The floral installations and cultural programmes planned for the show are surely something you should not miss. The show will run from the Fountain Circle near the Bandstand up to the Bal Bhavan Gate, one of Cubbon Park’s busiest corridors. The event will be open from 6 am to 7 pm. Officials expect the footfall to cross two lakh visitors!

50 Plant Varieties, 100+ Stalls And Cultural Programmes Planned
According to a report by The Hindu, visitors can expect displays with 50 varieties of plants and 50 varieties of flowering species. There will be more than 100 stalls, including nurseries, gardening accessory shops, craft stalls and more. And don’t worry about food; there will be food counters too. Apart from floral displays, the event will host several cultural programmes, including classical music concerts and folk performances. The entry fee is fixed at ₹30 for adults and ₹10 for children. School children coming in uniform with valid ID cards will get free entry.
G. Kusuma, Deputy Director, Cubbon Park, Horticulture Department, shared with The Hindu that proper parking arrangements have been made to manage the crowd. Visitors can park around the Central Library, which is open on all days except Sundays. On weekends, visitors can park at the KGD building and near the High Court.
