Koshala Literature Festival Set To Return In 2025

The fest promises to bring together writers, performers and cultural voices for an amazing celebration that highlights literature, art, music and culture. The festival will be held at UP Darshan Park. The four-day event will also pay tribute to Lucknow’s recent global recognition by UNESCO as the ‘Creative City of Gastronomy’.
While talking to Hindustan Times, Prashant Singh, founder of the Koshala Literature Festival (KLF), said that Lucknow has always celebrated diversity in its language, food, music and art. And now the organisers have a deep responsibility to honour ‘every shade of its creativity’. The four-day event will have many sessions. Be it mythology, women’s narratives, social change, digital imagination or storytelling, you would be in for many exciting things.

What To Expect At The 4-Day Festival
According to a report by Hindustan Times, the festival will host a lineup of Indian and international authors. You can expect Ghazala Wahab, Manjari Chaturvedi, Alka Pande, Koral Dasgupta and Neha Dixit at the event. Rajit Kapur, Kaveree Bamzai, Muzaffar Ali, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Anuja Chandramouli will be there at KLF 2025 too.
But that’s not all. The festival will also launch the ‘Sahir Ludhianvi Award’ for poetry. It is a new national literary honour for poetry excellence in two categories for male and female writers. The fun does not end here. The lit fest will also feature international cultural collaborations. You can expect French poet Monia Aljalis, a Spanish scholar Guillermo Rodríguez Martin, and dancer-choreographer Monica de la Fuente at the event. The evenings will be magical. A vibrant mehfil is planned, and a special ‘Koshala Talent Hunt’ will shine a light on emerging poets and writers.
A festival market will also be present at the Koshala Literature Festival 2025. It will showcase books, crafts and artworks. You can also expect stalls serving lip-smacking Awadhi street food. Moreover, a ‘Daawat-e-Sukhan’ is planned. It is a curated trilogy of gastronomic soirees blending poetry and Lucknowi cuisine at Celestial Manor, Khajurgaon Palace and Clarks Awadh.
