The exclusive FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola has sent football fans in India into a state of excitement. The tour began with a FIFA charter landing, followed by the official unveiling of the original FIFA World Cup Trophy at the Taj Mahal Hotel on Man Singh Road in Delhi. The unveiling was attended by Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, former Brazilian World Cup-winning footballer and legend Gilberto Silva, and All India Football Federation president Kalyan Chaubey.
Sports historian Boria Majumdar was also present at the event. Leaders from Coca-Cola attended as well, including Sanket Ray, President, Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia; Greishma Singh, Vice President, Marketing, Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia; and Devyani Rana, Vice President, Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability, Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia. The official Instagram page of Coca-Cola also shared a video showing the stunning FIFA World Cup Trophy.

All About The FIFA World Cup Trophy
Aren’t you curious to know more about the trophy? The FIFA World Cup Trophy is made of 18-carat solid gold and weighs 6.175 kg. It features two human figures holding the globe above them. Built on a long-standing 50-year partnership between Coca-Cola and FIFA, the trophy will travel to 30 FIFA Member Associations. It will make stops across 75 stops and over 150 tour days as part of its global tour. Moreover, the tour promises fans a rare, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the thrill and emotion of football up close.
Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Dr Mansukh Mandaviya said, “The FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour resonates strongly with our aspiration to position India among the world’s top five sporting nations by 2047. As India advances on its journey towards becoming a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047, sports will stand as a vital pillar of nation-building and youth empowerment.”
