This Women’s Day, Over 30 Women Will Drive 4,000+ Km, Covering 11 Cities In 20 Days

Embarq To Launch Yet Another All-Women Self-Drive Expedition

This Women’s Day, Embarq is all set to launch K2K 2026 – The Bold Route Series. The series is set to be an ambitious 20-day self-drive expedition from Kutch in Gujarat to Kibithoo in Arunachal Pradesh. This drive is set to trace India from its westernmost edge to its easternmost frontier.

Designed as a fully supported and planned journey, the drive’s aim is to combine comfort, safety and community with the thrill of long-distance self-driving. All the participants will go through diverse terrains and scenic landscapes while maintaining their own independence while being behind the wheel.

The upcoming drive is the second edition of their first landmark Kashmir-to-Kanyakumari expedition held last year. The expedition brought together more than 50 women and 25 cars, creating one of India’s largest women-only self-drive convoys. Not only this, but the journey also garnered national attention and was endorsed under the #SadakSurakshaAbhiyaan initiative by none other than Union minister Nitin Gadkari, setting another benchmark for women-led road travel in India.

All You Need To Know About The Bold Route Series

What started as a 23,000-kilometre intercontinental drive from India to Morocco has evolved into a brand known for its curated self-drive expeditions across more than 30 countries. Founded in 2015 by Medha Joseph and Sujal Patwardhan, Embarq has carved its own name in luxury overland travel over the years.

The Bold Route series itself was initiated last year after being in the business for a decade. The series focused on celebrating womanhood and encouraging self-exploration.

Scheduled from March 8th to March 28th, 2026, this drive will see over 30 women drivers covering more than 4,000 kilometres in a convoy of 10 SUVs. The route of this expedition will pass through nine states and eleven cities, like Kutch, Mount Abu, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna, Siliguri, Guwahati, Itanagar and, lastly, Kibithoo.
