The platform revealed that it had come to its notice that a jury member had recently sought special treatment from a bar, violating its rules. Jury members are strictly prohibited from seeking or accepting favours or special treatment from any bar. Most importantly, they are selected on one explicit condition: they must be treated like any other guest when visiting a bar.

The platform also urged bars to report anyone who claims to be a jury member and seeks favours. Anyone found doing so will be immediately disqualified. It also shared two email addresses where bars can report such incidents: Devarsee@30bestbarsindia.in and ashuli@30bestbarsindia.in.

Special Treatment Not Allowed

Such behaviour goes against the rules of 30 Best Bars India.

The platform, an initiative by Tulleeho and MW magazine, aims to give Indian bars and bartending talent an opportunity to shine in international markets. Its annual rankings and awards are based exclusively on a poll of over 250 bar enthusiasts, beverage influencers and industry experts.
