CT Review: I Tried éntisi’s Artisanal Chocolates In Mumbai & Ended Up Falling Harder For Their Cookies!

I’ve always joked that if Mumbai ever ran out of chocolates, I’d be the first one to panic. No, not in a dramatic way, but in that harmless “someone please hand me a treat before I spiral” sort of way. So when éntisi Chocolatier opened its newest boutique at Jio World Drive in BKC, I knew I had to check it out. And let me tell you, this spot isn’t just another pretty store. It’s a full sensory destination that’s as indulgent as it sounds.

éntisi Chocolatier’s New Boutique Is Mumbai’s Freshest Chocolate Fix

éntisi recently opened up a proper store at the Jio World Drive in BKC on the second floor. It is its sixth location after winning hearts across Pune, Mumbai, Thane, and Delhi. So, what’s different out here? Well, for starters, the boutique stretches across 550 square feet yet feels warm, intimate, and almost handcrafted in the way it’s designed. STaND Architects, along with Founder and CEO Nikki Thakker, shaped it into a space that slows you down the second you enter.

Mumbai Gets Its First Dragees Dispensers

Another first for the city sits right inside this boutique: the Dragees Chocolate Dispensers. It’s a DIY setup where you fill your own bag with any flavour and quantity you want. Kids lose their minds over it. Adults pretend they don’t, but trust me, they enjoy it just as much. For me, being an avid fan of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, it felt like I was instantly transported to a wonderland. For a person with a preference for dark chocolate, I recommend you not leave without tasting their dragees, especially their coffee bean dark chocolate ones. Imagine a roasted coffee bean dipped into dark chocolate as a proper treat? The moment you indulge in it, you get a light sweetness from the rich dark chocolate, and immediately, the crunch of the coffee bean surprises your taste buds. Get ready, because you’re about to be spoiled for choice.

Cookies That Could Ruin Every Other One You’ve Tasted

Now, the star attraction: freshly made, small-batch cookies. éntisi is offering them for the first time, and they’re prepared in-store. They’re rich, indulgent, and honestly, too easy to love. And, I would suggest you call them up before reaching out, as they are famous for being sold out by afternoon!

But the real showstopper is the Chocolate Raclette. Picture this: a slab of warm liquid chocolate being scraped right over your cookie. It drips, it pools, it smells outrageous. It’s one of those moments that grabs every sense at once. For the one’s who like their treats to be less sweet, I would definitely recommend the easy-going Maple Pecan Cookie that gives you the comfort of a soft, warm treat that would make you feel at home instantly.

The Classics Are Still Here, Looking Gorgeous

Of course, all the éntisi favourites return in full force. Their handcrafted bonbons, delicate slims, glossy barks, dragees, and seasonal specials like truffles and more line the Grand Chocolate Counter like edible jewels. Whether you’re shopping for a gift or just treating yourself, which, by the way, you absolutely should, you’ll find something that feels right.
