Sometimes, a new restaurant opens up and instantly feels like the place you didn’t know Delhi was missing. I experienced exactly that when I went to Addoni’s in Green Park. With its vibrant and delicious cocktails, global-inspired menu, and charming indoor and outdoor seating, Addoni’s is the kind of place you can walk in for any occasion.

A Haven Of Global Flavours & Gorgeous Spaces

The first thing you notice when you walk into Addoni’s is the space. It’s huge, over 250 seats, spread across indoor and outdoor sections. There’s something magical about sitting outside in the courtyard where a beautiful fountain and greenery surround you. If you prefer being indoors, the vibe is equally charming with a long statement bar, green accents, and even cosy fireplaces.

It’s the type of place where you can arrange a romantic date night, bring your family for a celebration dinner, or just walk in with friends for some lunch. I went on a rainy day and chose the alfresco seating, which turned out to be the perfect decision. Everything came together beautifully: the food, the rain, and the greenery.

Starters That Surprise You

My meal at Addoni’s began with something playful: the Agua Chile Puchka. It looked like our desi pani puri but with a Latin American twist. Guacamole, jalapeños, aguachile, and red pepper jam filled the puri, and the water was packed with flavour. What I liked was how it didn’t take away the essence of a puchka but instead added new layers of taste. Then came the White Wine and Chilli Broccoli. Now, broccoli isn’t usually the star of a meal, but here it definitely shined. Tossed with Thai red chilli, white wine, garlic, lime, toasted cashews, and harissa, it was light, hearty, and perfect for vegetarians.

The Prawn Plancha followed, and honestly, I could eat it every day. The prawns were cooked in Thai chilli butter with garlic, olives, cherry tomatoes, and basil. Perfectly done, it was soft, juicy, and full of flavour without being heavy. But the dish that absolutely blew me away was the Burrata Chicken Chaat. Imagine the chaos and flavours of a regular Indian chaat, spicy chicken, yoghurt, sev, papdi, and chutneys, but then add fresh burrata on top. It sounds unusual, but it was so well balanced. It managed to be both fun and comforting, a dish that I’d go back for again and again.

Of course, I couldn’t resist the Tokyo Tavern Karage, which is basically Japanese fried chicken. Crispy outside, tender inside, topped with pickled onions and chilli crisp, and served with lime and sriracha aioli. While I loved the texture, I felt the chicken could have had a bit more seasoning. Still, a solid dish if you love fried chicken. Another highlight at Addoni’s was the Kebab Labneh. Soft, flavourful shami kebabs placed on a bed of smooth labneh, paired with coriander salsa and pickled onions. It’s comfort food but with a stylish twist.

Mains Worth Remembering

For mains, the winner for me was hands down the Truffle Scented Mushroom Neapolitan Pizza. With truffle oil, wild mushrooms, buffalo mozzarella, and parmesan foam, this pizza was indulgence on a plate. Every bite was rich, aromatic, and absolutely perfect. A full 10/10. I also tried their Curry Platter, which came with cumin rice, daal 1947, burrata butter chicken, and naan. While I found the rice a bit undercooked and the dal could have used a little more flavour, the butter chicken was particularly rich and flavourful. But for those who prefer Indian flavours with a twist, this was a hearty platter.

Dessert And Cocktails That Complete The Experience

The Bombé Alaska and Addoni’s Tiramisu were the decadent desserts I sampled. Though a tad sweeter than I would have liked, the tiramisu was creamy and filling. What I loved was that you could actually taste the kahlua in it. The Bombé Alaska was the star dessert for me, not just for its taste but also for the drama of the presentation. With Italian meringue, Belgian chocolate, mascarpone gelato, and a splash of Cointreau flambé, it was a feast for both the eyes and taste buds.

Addoni’s cocktails are particularly noteworthy. The Heatwave was the first one I tried, and this tangy tequila-based drink had my heart in the first sip. It was refreshing and fiery at the same time. But the one I loved even more was the Scarlet Tranquility, a unique mix of tequila, passionfruit, lemon, and pinot noir. It was fruity, earthy, and beautifully balanced.

What I loved about Addoni’s is how versatile it is. You could come here for sushi and dim sums, indulge in Italian pizzas, or enjoy Middle Eastern kebabs and hearty curries; the menu has something for everyone. Whether you’re planning a special evening, a fun night out, or just want to treat yourself, this new Green Park gem is definitely worth a visit.
