2025 Delhi Restaurants

The end of 2025 is almost here, and looking back at the year, I visited so many new restaurants in Delhi NCR that truly left a mark on me. Some brought authentic Asian and Thai flavours, others made headlines on Instagram with the most authentic Italian gelato in India, and some became my favourite spots for just a fun evening out. Out of all the places I visited, these ten stood out for their combination of great food, warm vibes, and a feeling of comfort that stays with you long after the meal is over. These are the places that I’m still thinking about and would confidently recommend to every foodie in Delhi.

Top Restaurants In Delhi NCR In 2025

1. Upstairs

First up is Upstairs, the newly launched bar at Indian Accent, Delhi. From the moment you arrive, the space feels intimate and inviting, while still carrying the unmistakable finesse and polish that Indian Accent is known for. The undisputed highlight here is the martini trolley, a delightful, old-school-meets-modern experience where a range of martinis is crafted right in front of you. Even if you’re not usually a fan of spirit-forward cocktails, these martinis are surprisingly approachable and dangerously good. And for those who visit Indian Accent just for the kulchas, Upstairs does its own inspired take on the legendary bread.

2. Barbet & Pals

Then comes Barbet & Pals, a bar by Jeet Rana and Chirag Pal that’s been the talk of the town since it opened. This place genuinely feels like home; it’s warm, welcoming, and effortlessly cool. The drinks are high-quality and thoughtfully made, with innovation that’s deeply rooted in flavours Indians instantly connect with. The energy here is infectious, thanks not just to the crowd but also to the bartenders, who serve both excellent cocktails and equally great vibes. Elevating the experience further is the food menu by legendary chef Amninder Sandhu. Her gol-gol bread alone is reason enough to keep coming back, and yes, it’s something I’m still craving.

3. Pendulo

Pendulo brought something truly unique to Delhi NCR’s dining scene in 2025, a bold and beautiful fusion of Mexican and Indian cuisine. By Chef Megha Kohli and Chef Noah Barnes, this restaurant offers a 12-course tasting menu that takes you on a journey across regions of India and Mexico. Traditional techniques and ingredients from both cuisines come together seamlessly, creating a meal you won’t forget anytime soon. The drinks are just as thoughtfully crafted to complement each course. I still remember the lingering tingle of spice from the smoked lobster. It was an experience I’d happily revisit in 2026.

4. Latango

Another Delhi masterpiece by restaurateur Sahil Sambhi, Latango is all about grandeur and detail. From its striking bar to its thoughtfully curated menu, everything here feels intentional. One of the most unique elements is the bar menu, which reads like letters exchanged between artists across the world. Dessert lovers, take note: Latango serves one of the best tiramisus in the city. It arrives in a caviar-like tin, tricking you into thinking it’s the real thing, only to reveal coffee jelly pearls and a rich, indulgent tiramisu beneath.

5. Firenze Gelateria & Caffè

This one has dominated social media, and rightfully so. After winning hearts with Cicchetti Italiano in Khan Market, Chef Parth Gupta returned in 2025 with Firenze Gelateria & Caffè in Defence Colony, serving authentic Italian gelato done right. No matter when you visit, you’ll find long queues of patrons waiting patiently for that perfect scoop of creamy, luscious gelato. It’s the real deal. Beyond the gelato, the space itself feels like a charming European gelateria, effortlessly transporting you elsewhere. With the café now open, serving Florentine sandwiches, pastas, and excellent coffee, Firenze has earned its spot as the trendiest and most loved place in Delhi this year.

6. Ikk Punjab

If you’ve ever wondered what authentic, pre-Partition Punjabi food truly tastes like, Ikk Punjab made that possible in 2025. With multiple outlets now across Delhi NCR, they serve Punjabi food the way it was meant to be. Their mathi chole is irresistibly good, and despite visiting at 9 pm, I found myself craving their pakoras with adrak wali chai, along with the dohri kebab and biryani. Every flavour hits exactly where it should. What truly elevates the experience is the attention to detail in the space itself, designed to transport you to the pre-Partition era.

Where: Multiple Outlets
When: 12 pm – 12 am
Cost: ₹2,700 (For two)

7. Kikli

Another standout for Punjabi cuisine, Kikli brings flavours you’d typically find only in Punjabi homes straight to Delhi. This is Chef Amninder Sandhu’s gift to the city. From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed with smiles, dhol beats, and a vibrant warmth that feels like visiting relatives in Punjab. Authenticity is at the heart of everything here, from the chapli kebabs to the biryani, whose aroma you can sense from miles away, to the brilliantly crafted drinks. Lunch at Kikli was easily one of the best dining moments of my year, and one I’ll remember for a long time.

When: 12 pm – 11:30 pm

8. Bomba

2025 gave me a new favourite pizza spot, and it’s Bomba. The space is colourful, quirky, and vibrant without being overwhelming. It’s pretty enough for a date, cute enough for kids, and chic enough for a girls’ night out. The food is hearty, fresh, and full of flavour. The salads are thoughtfully made, and the pizzas are genuinely excellent. The truffle mushroom pizza is one I keep ordering on repeat, and for good reason. Even dishes like their risotto and fish tacos stand out and are absolutely worth trying.

9. Unico

Unico is a masterpiece I visited early in the year and one that completely changed my perspective on vegetarian dining. I rarely fall head over heels for restaurants serving only vegetarian fare, but Unico had me smitten. Ingredients are sourced from their own farm, microgreens are grown in a visible hydroponic chamber inside the restaurant, and the space is filled with lush greenery that instantly feels calming. It’s almost like stepping into a sanctuary away from Delhi’s hazardous AQI. The hearty mushroom risotto is something I still think about.

Where: Ground Floor, Global Foyer Mall, Golf Course Rd, Sector 43, Gurugram
When: 12 pm – 11 pm
Cost: ₹2,400 (For two)

10. Mestizo

Last but certainly not least, Mestizo was one of the most fun places I explored in 2025. Bringing authentic Latin American flavours to Delhi, it pairs bold food with playful, inventive drinks. Think juicy tacos, crispy tostadas, cocktails served as popsicles, and warm, chewy churros to finish. Mestizo is all about high energy, great vibes, and food that keeps you smiling, making it a place you’ll want to return to again and again.

Where: Second Floor, PVR Priya, Basant Lok, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi
When: 12:30 pm – 1 am
Cost: ₹3,000 (For two)

These restaurants in Delhi NCR gave the capital city’s vibrant culinary scene a new, exciting twist in 2025.
