During the latest episode of Sunday Brunch, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, asked the cast of Musafir Cafe, Vikrant Massey, Mahima Makwana and Vedika Pinto, to share their favourite food spots in Mumbai. While chatting about food, Vikrant revealed that Vedika is one of the biggest foodies he knows and added that everyone in her family is an excellent cook.
Vedika laughed and clarified that everyone in her family cooks, except her mother. That’s when Vikrant added, “Iska bhai Belgian waffles bahut achhe banata hai.” Vedika and Mahima were quick to correct him, reminding him that it’s croffles, not waffles.
Taking the opportunity to give the brand a shoutout, Vikrant added that if Mumbaikars haven’t tried The Croffle Guys yet, they definitely should. As it turns out, the recommendation comes with a personal connection—Vedika’s brother, Veer Pinto, is one of the co-founders of the popular Mumbai dessert chain, known for its signature croffles.
