Originating from Tripura and now based in Bengaluru, Hamtor recently completed his studies with a B.Com degree from Yenepoya University. Alongside creating content, he has been trading in crypto and forex since 2021. A confessed car enthusiast, he decided to start driving Uber Black not just as a side hustle, but as a way to combine his love for driving with his curiosity about people.
His idea of “networking on wheels” recently went viral after an Instagram Reel documenting his journey attracted millions of views. In an exclusive conversation with Curly Tales, Hamtor shared how every ride has become an opportunity to expand his horizons while proudly representing Northeast India.
Although he has been driving Uber Black for only a few weeks, Hamtor claims that the experience has already transformed the way he looks at networking. Every passenger brings a different story, perspective and life lesson, making each trip feel like a real-life podcast.

For Hamtor, driving Uber Black is about far more than earning an income. It has helped him become more confident, improve his communication skills and build a network he never imagined possible.
If given the chance to spend an hour with anyone, he says he would choose YouTube creator MrBeast. He hopes to discuss content creation, entrepreneurship, building businesses and the future of the creator economy. More importantly, he would love to introduce him to Northeast India and inspire him to visit the region.
