Mumbai’s first Italian-style bar, Call Me Sofia, has always believed that a drink is never just a drink. Tucked behind the famous Olive Bandra, this bar has spent years delivering some of the finest cocktails and drinks. This time, too, the bar launched what are called ‘edible cocktails’. Call Me Sofia Introduces ‘Edible Cocktails’

Call Me Sofia introduced Edible Cocktails, a world-first for Mumbai’s bar scene. Edible Cocktails are much more than what we imagine; each creation is a fully realised cocktail blended in spirit, sweetness and bitterness that simply exists in an entirely new form. Envision a soft set, architecturally precise, crafted for enjoyment over a few bites, mirroring the unfolding of a wonderful drink. The new menu reimagines some of the bar’s signature cocktails in an edible format without compromising their original flavour profiles. Some of the best bites include La Dolce Vita, which is herbal, citrussy, and gently bitter with a different Italian taste. Another favourite is Caprese-Tini, which is a blend of savoury, fresh, and lightly saline expressions with garden-like notes. Breakfast in Bed is more of a softer and indulgent form with a perfect balance of sweetness. Meanwhile, IYKYK evolves into a layered, bittersweet taste with a playful finish.

Inside The Edible Cocktail Menu

Each one of the signature cocktails is an extension, where familiar cocktails are carefully reconstructed to exist between a sip and a bite without losing their original touch. The Edible Cocktails menu is said to be one of the most daring expressions of the bar. The menu offers a thoughtfully crafted selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic creations that are built with the same attention to balance, texture and flavour.
