This banana leaf feast brings together Karnataka’s culinary heritage and flavours. Here’s what the meal will feature.

If you are in Bengaluru between September 12 and 16, 2026, you absolutely need to visit The Rameshwaram Cafe in Bommasandra. The place is celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 with a traditional Anna Lakshmi Habbadoota. The grand feast will be served traditionally on a banana leaf and celebrates festive flavours and timeless traditions.

The feast brings together Karnataka’s flavours with Kosambari, Herakai Thuviyal and Beetroot Pachadi. This will be followed by festive vegetables like Black Channa Usli, Red Pumpkin Palya and Mix Veg Kootu.

Traditional snacks like Chitranna and Shavige will also be served, along with a comforting main course of Majjige Huli, Tomato Pappu Rasam and White/Rajmudi Rice. People can also enjoy Veg Bonda and Kotte Kadubu.

What’s For Sweets?

But here comes the most special part. Anna Lakshmi Habbadoota served at The Rameshwaram Cafe, Bommasandra, will also feature Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 special sweets. This includes Kara Modaka, Arashina Yele Kadubu, Holige and Moong Dal Payasam. The feast will be finished with banana, Yele Adike, Happalac and Majjige Manasu. This sounds yummy, right?
