IKAI Bandra

Foodies in Bandra, you have found yourself a whole new destination to satisfy your cravings. IKAI, India’s first sweet and savoury studio, has now launched in Bandra as a luxury mansion that treats Indian mithai like fine jewellery and prepares its savouries in 100% olive oil. We can say that Indian confectionery has entered a new era with IKAI in Bandra. Here’s everything you need to know.

One-Of-A-Kind IKAI Lands In Bandra

In a prominent corner of Bandra sits IKAI, India’s first luxury sweet and savoury studio. It is an experience-driven house of edible luxury that reimagines how the country indulges, tastes, and celebrates tradition. At IKAI, every recipe honours time. There is no compromise on ingredients or taste.

From the iconic kaju katli to slow-reduced nolen gur peda and regional savouries, the brand balances nostalgia with refinement. IKAI does not modernise Indian mithai. It elevates it. The brand ensures that all its mithai are free from refined white sugar. It uses date palm jaggery, coconut sugar, and monk fruit sugar. For savouries, only 100% olive oil is used, along with A2 cow ghee for signature preparations.

From Live Chaat To Dessert Studio

Here comes the best part. IKAI in Bandra is not a place where you just buy mithai and leave. It offers five interactive zones for guests.

  • The Live Chaat Counter: This is a luxury reimagining of Indian street classics, made with 100% pure olive oil.
  • The Make Your Own Dessert Studio: This zone lets guests watch laddoos being handcrafted in real time. People can also personalise their sweets and choose their preferred flavours, artisanal coatings, and finishes.
  • The Discovery Dessert Zone: It allows guests to explore the raw ingredients used by IKAI, like date palm jaggery and monk fruit, and understand how the brand redefines mithai.
  • The Savoury Exploration Centre: This is a dedicated section for slow grazing. It showcases regional namkeens.
  • Bespoke Gifting: This zone offers curated gift options that feel like pieces of art.

Dr Harmitsingh Sikh, the visionary founder of IKAI, says, “With IKAI, we wanted to create a space where tradition is preserved, ingredients are honoured, and the experience feels as refined as the product itself. This is about slowing down, tasting with intention, and celebrating Indian sweets the way the world celebrates luxury food.”
