This New Bandra Cafe Is Bringing Back Childhood Memories With Its Nostalgic Bakes

If you have a soft spot for warm cookies, flaky croissants, gooey chocolate cakes and ice cream sundaes, Sanji’s Treat Shop in Bandra might just be worth adding to your dessert list. Created by Chef Sanjana Arora, the new neighbourhood bake shop brings together old-school flavours, childhood food memories and playful takes on familiar treats. Scroll down to know more.

Sanji’s Treat Shop Opens Its Doors In Bandra

Located on Waroda Road in Bandra West, Sanji’s Treat Shop is designed for everyday indulgence rather than just special occasions. The menu brings together freshly baked cookies, cakes, viennoiseries, puddings, sundaes, savoury bakes, coffee and nostalgic drinks. The cookies are among the highlights, with options such as the Jam Toastie Cookie, inspired by the simple combination of bread and jam, and Mr Pista, featuring pistachio ganache inspired by Chef Sanjana’s grandmother’s pistachio barfi. There is also the Baby Crème Brûlée Custard Cookie and the Blueberry Baddie Pro-Max Cookie, a gluten-free, protein-forward option made with almond.

For chocolate lovers, the Sobo Chic Choc combines Bournvita, Maltesers and Melody toffee in a caramel chocolate cake-inspired creation. Other cake options include the Malted Melody, Papa’s Pineapple Nougat, Mom’s Choco Berry Cake Slice and Death By Chocolate Truffle Cake. The shop also gives cakes a playful twist by serving them in scoopable formats. The Cookie Misu comes with tiramisu scoop cake, vanilla mascarpone soft serve, cookie crumble, coffee and fudge sauce, while the Bandra Banoffee Custard Pudding combines custard, banana and Nila wafers.

What Can All Guests Expect?

Sanji’s also serves warm cookies with toppings and ice cream, along with sundaes such as the Sobo Chic Choc, made with chocolate ice cream, vanilla mascarpone soft serve and a warm Milo Lava Cookie. On the savoury and pastry side, expect classics such as salted butter croissants, caramelised French maple palmier hearts and canteen-style puffs. Drinks include Peach Marmalade Iced Tea, Tang Cold Brew, Cherry Cola with Strawberry Float, Fruity Matcha and OG Hot Chocolate with Soft Serve.

The menu also includes vegan, low-sugar and gluten-free options. With fresh bakes prepared and finished throughout the day, Sanji’s Treat Shop aims to make stopping by for a cookie, coffee, croissant or sundae feel less like a planned outing and more like an everyday treat.
