Vlogger Makes Butter Chicken With Just 2 Ingredients; Netizens: “Indians Are Coming For You”

Butter chicken

Butter chicken. Even just reading its name is enough to make our mouths water. It is a world-renowned Indian dish featuring marinated tandoori chicken in a rich, creamy, buttery tomato sauce. And yes, Indians do not tolerate weird experiments with this recipe. But now, a foreign content creator has made butter chicken using just two ingredients. Naturally, foodies all over the world have mixed reactions.

Butter Chicken With Just Two Ingredients

Butter chicken involves a lot of butter, but it also includes many ingredients like garam masala, ginger, garlic, tomato sauce and more. This beloved dish is usually enjoyed with butter naan. But now, a content creator on Instagram, Juliette (@itsmejuliette),  has given it a very unusual twist.

Juliette, who believes there should be no rules in cooking, made this chicken dish with only two ingredients. She said, “I was today years old when I learnt to make butter chicken.” Juliette added that she did not realise it was “literally just butter and chicken.” She then covered an entire chicken in 10 sticks of butter! The caption under the video read, “My first time making butter chicken.”

Juliette put the chicken in the oven and took it out once it turned golden and soft. She cut it and ate it. That was her version of butter chicken. It is not the recipe Indians are familiar with. The video went viral on social media and grabbed massive attention from food lovers.

One user wrote, “took butter chicken too literally.” Another commented, “How much butter is too much butter?” A third user joked, “The Indians are coming for you.” Another Instagram user added, “I know this is supposed to be a joke.”  It seems like foodies were genuinely stunned by this unique recipe. Meanwhile, many other users also praised the recipe.
