The Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is a deeply sacred site and a major cultural landmark in India. As per the latest update, all construction work related to the temple is expected to be completed by April 30, 2026. The overall cost of the project is estimated at around ₹1,900 crore. Construction Work At Ram Mandir In Ayodhya To Finish Soon
Ram Mandir is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Ram. This temple in Ayodhya holds deep religious significance for many Hindus in India. The temple was inaugurated on January 22, 2024, in a grand ceremony led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now, according to a report by India Today, all remaining construction work at the site will conclude by April 30, 2026. The total cost of this project is estimated at around ₹1,900 crore.
Reportedly, Ram Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra told India Today that Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Tata Consultancy, the companies executing key works at the site, will exit the temple premises by April 30 after completing all construction. Authorities have also issued directions to complete all paperwork and bill payments by the same date.

Announcement Made During A Two-Day Meeting
L&T and Tata Consultancy have offered a three-year warranty for all the work they carried out inside the Ram Mandir. A small team from both companies will remain deployed within the temple complex. All agreements with these organisations and the State Construction Corporation will now be taken over by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
According to India Today, out of the ₹1,900 crore project cost, ₹1,600 crore, including GST, has already been paid by the authorities. The Ram Temple Construction Committee shared these updates during its recent two-day meeting. The meeting also reviewed the transition of responsibilities at the Ram Mandir.
