Goa Has A Cocktail-Forward Traveller’s Hotel Where ‘Passport’ Is Stamped To Guarantee A Good Time

Goa is a hub of not just scenic spots but also wonderful stays. One place where travellers will experience more than just a holiday is the Passport Hotel. Located in the quiet lanes of Assagaon, this hotel offers more than just a boring stay. Read on to find out more about it.

The Passport Hotel In Goa

A 27-key boutique property founded by Ashes L. Sajnani, the Passport Hotel, brings a unique perspective to hospitality in North Goa. Known as India’s first cocktail-forward travel hotel, the property is an ideal place for drinks, discoveries, and conversations. Located on Badem Church Road in Assagaon, North Goa, the hotel sits in one of the most beautiful areas of Goa. Unlike other cafes and restaurants, the Passport Hotel encourages guests to step out and discover the culture around them.

What’s Their Passport Programme?

The hotel’s most unique and entertaining feature is its passport programme. Here, each guest receives a physical passport at check-in. The twist? It’s not for immigration stamps but for cocktails. The passport features a curated list of the best bars across Goa. Guests are encouraged to visit these spots, meet the bartenders, try a drink and collect a stamp in their passport

Printed inside is a curated list of the best bars across Goa. Guests are encouraged to visit these spots, meet the bartenders, try a drink and collect stamps for their passports. Guests check in over a welcome drink rather than a formal desk, setting the tone for the stay. With jazz playing softly in the background and small plates on the menu, MiniBar feels more like a neighbourhood cocktail spot than a hotel lobby. Over time, it becomes a small record of their journey through the state’s growing cocktail scene. The theme continues in the hotel rooms, which come equipped with DIY cocktail sets that allow guests to mix their favourite drinks.

With 27 rooms, The Passport Hotel keeps the space intimate. Some rooms’ features include pools and jacuzzis, but they’re all designed with modern amenities, offering comfortable spaces where guests can rest, work, or simply slow down. Another best part is the hotel’s rooftop pool and bar that overlooks the hills of Assagaon, making it the hotel’s best spot to unwind.
