As per Fress Press Journal, Ixigo recently launched a new airport cab service all across India, allowing passengers to book rides to and from airports directly via the site or the Ixigo app. The service offers a 30-minute pickup buffer and free cancellations up to 90 minutes before rides, making the platform accessible for last-minute travel. The app also offers various discounts and offers, like users booking one-way rides can save up to 50%, which is up to ₹200, while return rides can get you up to 20% off.

Just like any other cab service, travellers can choose from hatchbacks, SUVs, sedans and other luxury cars. The distance, fares and pick-up time may vary depending upon the city. Other services also include green vehicle options, real-time updates and a 24×7 SOS button promoting customer safety. The best part? The service includes tolls and driver allowances, without any hidden costs at checkout.
What All Does The Service Offer?
The Airport Cabs service operates across 100+ cities in India, covering mainly all major airports nationwide. The booking procedure is designed keeping the ease of the customer in mind, and one can book the cab by entering origin and destination details, pickup date and time; choosing a preferred cab type, applying coupons available; and initiating the payment.
According to the Free Press Journal, Co-CEO of Ixigo, Rajnish Kumar, promoted the launch due to growing demand from frequent passengers for easy, affordable and reliable commutes. The app offers features like on-time pickups and quick refund services for easy travel support.
After their integrations of train, flight and hotel bookings, this move makes Ixigo’s position stronger in the market. Ixigo’s airport cab service also marks a strategic move into last-minute connectivity, focusing on making air travel more flexible and user-friendly across India.
