PM Modi Wants People To Make ‘Get Ready With Me’ Videos
On the occasion of National Handloom Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Instagram with a unique appeal for Indians. He encouraged people to create GRWM (Get Ready With Me) videos featuring their favourite handloom outfits and products, and share them using the hashtag #NationalHandloomDay.
Through the initiative, the Prime Minister urged citizens to support India’s weaving community by choosing handloom products, showcasing them on social media and celebrating the craftsmanship behind them. He also praised the country’s weavers and artisans for preserving India’s rich textile traditions and keeping these age-old crafts alive for generations.
In the caption, he added, “Let’s make India’s handloom diversity popular. Share your videos with your favourite handloom products, including GRWM videos.”
