An Instagram user, Aalimahaa Ali (@evolvewith_aalimahaa), recently uploaded a video showing her entering Gomti Nagar Railway Station in Lucknow. The moment she steps inside, the layout leaves viewers stunned. She captioned the video, “Airport vibes, railway ticket, “and netizens agreed. Many were amazed after seeing the station’s interiors, which look nothing like a traditional Indian railway station!

1. Cleanliness 

The first thing that stands out is the cleanliness. There is no litter, no stains on the walls, and no garbage lying around on the side. The station looks spotless, just like a world-class airport terminal.

2. A Spacious And Open Layout 

Another reason Gomti Nagar Railway Station feels like an airport is its spacious layout. The station has a large waiting lounge, similar to airport terminals. Big glass windows allow natural light to flow in, while the uncluttered space makes it look stunning in the video. It clearly stands apart from traditional railway stations in India. 

3. World-Class Infrastructure

According to a report by India Today, the station features solar panels, escalators, centralised air conditioning, lifts, and even commercial spaces. These facilities make the railway station resemble an airport.

4. Clear Signage For Platforms

Apart from being spacious, the station also has clear signboards displaying directions to the platforms. This is similar to how airport terminals guide passengers, right? The proper signage at the railway station makes navigation easy for passengers. 

The video ends with the user reaching her platform and waiting for her train. Many Instagram users were impressed by Gomti Nagar Railway Station. One user wrote, “looks beautiful,” while another commented, “really well made.”
