The new Trumpet Junction at Neopolis is all set for its inauguration on August 20, by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. This new flyover is expected to transform airport travel for residents and frequent flyers alike.

Reach Hyderabad Airport In Just 20 Minutes Via Trumpet Junction

A trumpet-shaped flyover at Kokapet is ready for its inauguration today by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Developed by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), this junction will connect the Neopolis layout in Kokapet directly to the Outer Ring Road (ORR). According to The Siasat Daily, commuters will now be able to reach Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad in just 20 minutes, significantly reducing travel time. X user, @HydUrbanRealty, also posted images of the newly built Trumpet Junction. 

Spread across 500 acres, Neopolis is one of HMDA’s flagship layouts. The overall project cost is estimated at ₹450 crore. The new Trumpet Junction, built at a cost of ₹65 crore, features a four-lane main junction stretching 600 metres. It also includes outer service roads extending 1.3 km. The complete project is expected to boost real estate and commercial activity in Kokapet while improving last-mile connectivity to the airport.

Faster Routes For Commuters And Frequent Flyers

This new link road will benefit frequent flyers, residents of western Hyderabad, and IT professionals who will now have a faster route to the airport. The project is also expected to ease congestion on existing routes by diverting traffic directly onto the ORR. Moreover, with improved airport connectivity. 

Commuters will now enjoy hassle-free travel across the highways, making their daily commute more convenient. One of HMDA’s most important projects is now complete and ready for inauguration today. With travel time to the airport dropping to just 20 minutes, reaching the airport will become significantly easier for travellers, eliminating the stress of last-minute rushes.
