Akshay Kumar Prays To Mahakal In Ujjain
The Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, is one of the most sacred temples dedicated to Mahakal or Lord Shiva. Thousands of devotees flock here every year to offer prayers and seek blessings. Actor Akshay Kumar, who is known for films like Hera Pheri and Bhool Bhulaiyaa, recently visited the temple along with his mother-in-law Dimple Kapadia and actor Tiger Shroff. A video posted on X by @Anuppouranik shows the actors at the temple.
Akshay wore a white kurta set while visiting the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. While exiting the temple, he shared with ANI that he had prayed for his family, for the country, and for all the people. The actor also took part in the ritual of Jal Abhishek at the temple. It is a ritual where devotees offer water, milk, and other items to the Shivling to seek blessings and peace.

Situated on the banks of the Shipra River in Ujjain, the Mahakaleshwar Temple is known for its Bhasma Aarti. This aarti usually takes place between 3:30 am and 5:30 am.
