Shilpa Shirodkar’s Car Hit By City Bus In Mumbai
On Wednesday, actress Shilpa Shirodkar, known for her work in films like Aankhen, Bewafa Sanam and more, took to Instagram to vent her frustration. Her car was involved in an accident with a city bus in Mumbai. Shilpa used her social media handle to call out the bus company, Cityflo, accusing it of refusing to take responsibility for the incident.
She posted images showing her damaged car, writing, “A Cityflo bus ran into my car today. And the people representing the office in Mumbai, Mr. Yogesh Kadam and Mr. Vilas Mankote, are telling me it’s not their company’s responsibility, it’s the driver’s responsibility. How ruthless are these guys? How much can a driver earn?”
She blamed the company for refusing to take responsibility for the accident. Allegedly, representatives of Cityflo, Mr Yogesh Kadam and Mr Vilas Mankote, put the entire blame on the driver. She further added that her staff was fine and unhurt, but “anything could have happened.”
Actress Files Police Complaint
In her Instagram post, she further added, “Thanks to @mumbaipolice @cpmumbaipolice, they helped me file a police complaint without much problem. But the company refuses to take any responsibility for the incident. @cityflo.ind appreciate your connecting with me on this matter. Thankfully, my staff is fine and unhurt, but anything could have happened.”
By the tone of her post, Shilpa Shirodkar was clearly disappointed with the bus company for refusing to take responsibility. Though the accident was not fatal, she still felt quite frustrated. This eventually led her to file a complaint with the Mumbai Police. She also urged the bus company, Cityflo, to get in touch with her regarding the matter.
