A sprawling 17,200 sq ft penthouse at DLF’s The Dahlias has reportedly been sold for ₹271 crore, giving us yet another glimpse into just how high-end the city’s luxury home market has become. Entrepreneur Buys DLF The Dahlias Penthouse For ₹271 Crore
According to Business Today, a 17,200 sq ft penthouse at DLF’s upcoming luxury project, The Dahlias in Gurugram, has reportedly been sold for a whopping ₹271 crore to entrepreneur Manav Sardana. The deal is being called one of the country’s most expensive residential transactions on a per-square-foot basis.
The penthouse has a super area of 17,200 sq ft, while its carpet area is around 10,500 sq ft. Based on the super area, the property works out to nearly ₹1.58 lakh per sq ft, while the price rises to around ₹2.6 lakh per sq ft when calculated on the carpet area.
The deal also puts Gurugram’s luxury housing market in the same conversation as Mumbai’s most expensive neighbourhoods, where property transactions in areas such as Worli have crossed ₹2 lakh per sq ft.

All You Need To Know About The Luxurious Project
Entrepreneur Manav Sardana also confirmed the purchase in an email response to Hindustan Times Real Estate. It is worth noting that this is not the first time The Dahlias has made headlines for its eye-watering property prices.
In April 2026, ace investor Madhusudan Murlidhar Kela reportedly bought an apartment in the Gurugram project for over ₹120.71 crore, according to property documents accessed by CRE Matrix.
Back in February 2025, former India opener Shikhar Dhawan also purchased an apartment at The Dahlias for nearly ₹69 crore. Property documents showed that the apartment was priced at ₹65.61 crore, with the total cost, including stamp duty, coming to ₹68.89 crore.
Spread across around 7.5 million sq ft, The Dahlias is set to feature 420 residences across 29 levels and eight towers. The project will also have 15 exclusive duplex penthouses spanning around 3.5 lakh sq ft in total.
With apartment prices reportedly ranging from ₹100 crore to ₹170 crore, the penthouses are expected to command an even higher price tag, putting the project firmly in India’s ultra-luxury real estate segment.
