On November 11, news reports suggested that actor Dharmendra passed away at 89. Shortly after, his daughter, actor Esha Deol, posted a statement on her Instagram account refuting those rumours. She chided the media for spreading false news. Her post read, “My father is stable and recovering.” The Deol family requested people to give them privacy. Moreover, she thanked everyone for their prayers and wished her father, Dharmendra, a speedy recovery.
Esha Deol Says, “Dharmendra Is Recovering”
Taking to her Instagram handle on November 11, Esha Deol wrote, “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for Papa’s speedy recovery.” Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai due to breathing difficulties. Due to ill health, it was reported that the actor was shifted to a ventilator.
In the morning of November 11, rumours were rife that he actor had taken his last breath. But his daughter, actor Esha Deol and wife, Hema Malini, took to social media to refute this false news circulating on the Internet. Shah Rukh Khan, his son, director Aryan Khan visited the hospital to check up on the actor amid his health issues. Fondly known as Bollywood’s ‘He-Man’, the actor is currently recovering.
Hema Malini Asked People To Pray For Him
Hema Malini thanked people for their prayers and concerns on social media. She confirmed that the 89-year-old legend was being closely monitored and is on a path to recovery. She requested people to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery. Her post was accompanied with a smiling picture of Dharmendra.
Actor Dharmendra was last seen in the Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and the Maddock production, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. He will next be seen in the Agastya Nanda starrer, Ikkis, releasing next month. We pray for the Bollywood legend’s speedy recovery!
