The veteran actor, who was discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital last week and was recuperating at home, died earlier today. The film fraternity has expressed condolences on the loss of the legendary star.

Just 12 days after he was discharged from the hospital, legendary actor Dharmendra passed away on November 24 at his Mumbai home. He had been admitted in late October after experiencing breathlessness. Following reports that Dharmendra’s condition was critical, several Bollywood heavyweights visited him in the hospital. Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan were among the stars who came to offer their support and check on the legendary actor.
During his hospitalisation, several false reports about Dharmendra’s health circulated widely. His family promptly stepped in and set the record straight. The veteran actor would have celebrated his 90th birthday on December 8. According to The Indian Express, the actor’s family members have arrived at the Vile Parle crematorium. Furthermore, security has been tightened around the veteran actor’s residence.
