On October 8, the IAF celebrated its 93rd anniversary at Hindon Air Force Station in Ghaziabad. The ceremonial parade showcased a spectacular parade and dynamic air show that left everyone awestruck. Besides precision and patriotism, the ceremony also served up a menu that caught everyone’s attention. Featuring dishes like Balakot Tiramisu and Sargodha Dal Makhani, the spread seemed to carry a subtle, not-so-secret message, sparking curiosity and conversations across social media.

93rd Indian Air Force Anniversary Menu Has A Not-So-Hidden Menu

Major Manik M Jolly, who is also a veteran of the Gorkha regiment with a Sena Medal, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a glimpse of the menu during the IAF’s anniversary celebration. While the location of the dinner wasn’t revealed, the names of the dishes on the menu have grabbed a lot of attention.

The dinner menu at IAF’s 93rd anniversary featured various dishes named after Pakistani cities targeted for anti-terror operations. The menu featured dishes like Rawalpindi Chicken Tikka Masala, Rafiqui Rhara Mutton, Bholari Paneer Methi Malai, Sukkur Sham Savera Kofta, Sargodha Dal Makhani, Jacobabad Mewa Pulao, and Bahawalpur Naan in the main course. It did not end there! For desserts, they served Balakot Tiramisu, Muzaffarabad Kulfi Faluda, and Muridke Meetha Pan as well.

More About The Anniversary Celebration

The 93rd IAF anniversary event was presided over by Chief of Air Staff A.P. Singh, along with other top military chiefs and the Chief of Defence Staff. The celebrations commenced with a grand parade at Hindon Air Force Station. It featured a display of indigenous aircraft and other advancements in surveillance and radar technologies in the Indian Air Force.

Showcasing IAF’s aerial prowess, they also performed synchronised flypasts with Rafale, Sukhoi Su-30MKI, and MiG-29. The Advanced Light Helicopters were also seen performing aerial displays and highlighting their agility in various operational scenarios.
