Evening Heritage Walks In Delhi
According to India Today, the Delhi government has introduced evening heritage walks to promote night tourism in the city. The curated experiences will feature a variety of themes, including haunted trails, to attract more visitors.
These guided walks are designed for corporate groups, students, resident associations, and tourists. They will be organised on demand for groups of 25 or more and will conclude by 8:30 PM. As per the report, the cost is ₹500 per person.
As per the official statement, some of these walks include “Haunted Heritage Walk” at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium, “Dekho Apna CP” at Connaught Place Circuit, “Dilli ka Dil Dekho, Walk of Shahjahanabad” in Old Delhi, and “Ek Shaam Shaheedon Ke Naam” at National War Memorial.
Apart from these, you can also explore several other heritage walks in Delhi. These include Roshan-e-Dilli, an evening walk at the Qutub Complex; a popular food walk in Old Delhi; and guided tours of Qutub Minar, Mehrauli Archaeological Park, and the Hauz Khas Complex. Other themed walks include Nawabo Ki Aakhri Nishani and Dilli Ka Dil: Worship Places Walk.

The aim of these evening heritage walks is to encourage visitors to spend more time in Delhi and to make historical tours more flexible and engaging. Through these curated experiences, authorities hope to offer a fresh perspective on the city’s iconic landmarks and help people connect with its rich heritage.
These night and evening walks are not fixed public events. According to India Today, they will be organised on request for groups of at least 25 participants. The Tourism Department is also open to customising the tour timings to suit the group, as long as each walk concludes by 8:30 PM. Participants will receive a welcome kit that includes essentials such as a bag, cap, wristband, and water bottle.
