According to The Economic Times, the airport is India’s first fully digital airport. It features pre-booked parking, online baggage and immigration services, extensive automation, and large onsite solar capacity. It won awards for Emerging Airport of the Year 2026, Outstanding Terminal Technology Award 2026, and the Partnership Excellence Award with AECOM.
