Recently, a video went viral where a travel vlogger shared the condition inside a Bangkok-to-India flight, which was littered with trash and also raised questions about in-flight etiquette and responsibility. Read on to know more the incident.
Vlogger Expresses Concern Over Dirty Flight
Travel vlogger Sandhya Majji expressed a strong concern over the state of the cabin after the flight. In the video, she showcased the condition inside the flight, littered with pieces of torn boarding passes left on seats and the floor after the flight. She also questioned whether it is the responsibility of parents to control their children or clean up after them, especially when passengers leave the flight dirty during journeys. She also revealed that it was not a one-off experience and claimed that she often sees similar scenes on other flights, including the one from Bangkok to India.
Sharing the video, she wrote, “Isn’t it the responsibility of parents to either control their kids or clean up after them?” She further stated that this is not just on a Bangkok flight, but she has seen trash left behind on flights all the time, even by adults, especially on flights full of Indians. “This flight honestly made me feel like I was in a government bus in a village in India. That said, littering anywhere is a shameful thing to do,” she wrote.
She further highlighted how she also witnessed multiple such events where passengers didn’t even maintain basic hygiene. The vlogger also highlighted how such incidents can impact flight operations and contribute to delays and increase the workload for airline staff.
How Did Social Media React To It?
As soon as she shared the video, it instantly gained popularity, with many people criticising the behaviour. One user wrote, “Indians behave like this everywhere in the world, even in their own country.”
Another expressed concern about people tearing their boarding passes: “Why TF would someone tear their boarding passes like that? Protect it like a souvenir.”
