The ICC T20 World Cup final has now got a lot more exciting! Team India will face New Zealand on March 8 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Now, for the closing ceremony, the ICC has announced some amazing performances. They took to Instagram and wrote, “The stage keeps getting bigger.”
Global superstar Ricky Martin, a globally renowned Puerto Rican singer, will be performing live at the stadium. But not just Ricky Martin. The stage will also come alive with the tunes of music icons like Sukhbir and our very own Dandiya Queen Falguni Pathak. This means fans are in for not just an adrenaline-pumping match but also global hits and desi anthems as these legendary artists set the stage on fire on the biggest night of cricket.

Schedule For The T20 World Cup Closing Ceremony
According to The Free Press Journal, Ricky Martin will take over the stadium before the match begins. He will thrill the fans with a specially curated live performance with his powerful vocals and some of his iconic Latin pop hits. Apart from that, Falguni Pathak will get fans at the Narendra Modi Stadium dancing to her beats, while Punjabi singer Sukhbir will enthral the crowd with some of his best hits. The ICC T20 World Cup final between India and New Zealand is scheduled to begin at 7 pm. The stadium is expected to be packed with thousands of fans cheering for Team India.
According to The Economic Times, here is the ICC T20 World Cup closing ceremony schedule:
- Gates open: 3:30 pm
- Performances begin: 5:30 pm
- Final match start: 7 pm
So, if you want to catch these artists live, make sure you reach the venue on time. The roads around the stadium are expected to see a lot of traffic, so plan your journeys accordingly.
