Over the weekend, Delhi celebrated Diwali like never before! The Kartavya Path in the city turned into a dazzling sight as the city celebrated Deepotsav in grand style ahead of Diwali. The event featured a mesmerising display of lights, with 1.51 lakh diyas illuminating the path and a spectacular Ramayana-themed drone and laser show captivating thousands of visitors. On Saturday, Delhi witnessed its first-ever Deepotsav event. Around 1.5 lakh diyas lit up the Kartavya Path in the city as part of the Diwali celebration. According to The Times of India, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the event was inspired by the “spirit and scale of Ayodhya’s Diwali celebrations.”

Thousands of people took part in this celebration and witnessed the grand Diwali festivity in the Capital. Besides the diyas flickering on the ground, Delhi’s skies also lit up with a grand drone and laser show. Reports suggest that there were also several cultural performances at this event.

The Ramayana-themed drone and laser show stole the spotlight at the Diwali celebration on Kartavya Path, and dazzled spectators with its grand and spectacular display that beautifully brought the epic tale to life. The show added a modern touch to the traditional festivities, and thousands of people gathered to catch glimpses of this celebration. From Lord Rama with a bow and arrow and Hanuman bowing before him to the epic fight, the drones showed carefully choreographed sequences that were well coordinated with music to give people a visual treat of a lifetime.
