It wasn’t just the match or the tournament that made us proud—it was the sheer dominance with which they achieved this feat that made the entire country dance with joy. And the celebration truly deserves some limelight too!

T20 World Cup 2026: A Historic Win For India’s Men Cricket Team

India, India, India,” that was all we heard as India’s men’s cricket team won the T20 World Cup 2026 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. Given the team’s history at the stadium, it wasn’t so much the opponent that fans feared, but the venue itself. But the boys ensured that no ghosts of the past haunted them this time, comprehensively defeating the New Zealand team in the final and setting a series of new records.

As the stadium erupted with firecrackers and cheers from fans, India made history. According to Hindustan Times, by securing titles in 2007, 2024, and now in 2026, India’s men’s cricket team became the only team to win the T20 World Cup three times. Not only that, they also became the first men’s team to secure the title on home soil.
