Who says homecoming is just about nostalgia, revisiting old places and catching up with friends? In 2025, it became the ultimate dating reboot! According to data shared by Bumble, singles weren’t just catching up on holidays; they were updating profiles, rekindling old flames, and scouting new connections before even setting foot back home!

2025 Holidays Were All About Rewind Romance, Reveals Bumble Data

Bumble’s data revealed that 2025 was the year of Rewind Romance. Instead of letting the pressure of “Are you still single?” get to them, many singles chose to flip the script. They took charge of their dating lives and headed home ready to rediscover old sparks or see what new possibilities awaited them.

As per Bumble, this rise of nostalgia-driven dating has been fuelled by downtime, reflection and emotional clarity. For many singles, heading home for the holidays became an opportunity to rekindle past chemistry or explore new connections, rather than waiting for “new year, new dating goals” to finally make a move.
