Passenger Convenience Remains Top Priority For The Airline

Furthermore, due to the night curfew at the Phuket airport, the flight’s onward journey was rescheduled accordingly.

“We are making all efforts to minimise inconvenience to customers, including offering them refreshments and sharing regular updates with them. As always, the safety and security of our customers, crew and aircraft is our topmost priority,” IndiGo’s statement further added.

This incident comes days after an IndiGo flight from Lucknow to Delhi failed to lift off properly at Lucknow Airport. The pilot had to abort takeoff as the flight, carrying 151 passengers, struggled to become airborne and had neared the end of the runway. The pilot’s timely judgement helped avoid what could have been a major scare. All passengers and crew members were safe, and the airline successfully accommodated them on different flights to their destinations afterwards.
