‘Melody Itni Chocolatey Kyun Hai?’ This is the question that used to cross our minds when we ate these iconic toffees. But after PM Narendra Modi gifted these toffees to the Italian PM, the meaning of these candies has totally changed. People are associating Melody with PM Modi after the video of him gifting these toffees to Italian PM Giorgia Meloni went viral.
Firenze Gelateria & Caffè, a viral dessert hotspot in Defence Colony, Delhi, known for its traditional Italian gelato inspired by Florence, has now introduced a Melody ice cream called Modi Ji’s Melody Gelato. And foodies can’t keep calm. Chef Parth Gupta took to Instagram to announce the new flavour. He wrote, “The internet is obsessed with that packet of Melody. So, we understood the assignment. Introducing Modi Ji’s Melody Gelato.”

What Makes This Gelato Special?
Chef Parth Gupta also cheekily wrote that when they brought authentic gelato to Delhi, they never expected to find themselves in the middle of international diplomacy. Since India and Italy are coming closer, this Italian restaurant had to play its part in it.
Modi Ji’s Melody Gelato is made with sticky caramel, Indian chocolate fudge sauce, and lots of Melody toffee chunks. While the whole internet was busy gushing over the cute video of PM Modi and Italian PM Giorgia Meloni, this cafe was busy planning this amazing ice cream flavour. Honestly, we can’t wait to try this ice cream flavour ourselves.
