2 Luxurious Properties From Jaipur & Udaipur Make It To World’s 50 Best Hotels Extended List

The World’s 50 Best has now revealed the extended list of the best hotels in 2026, and two hotels from India, specifically Rajasthan, have made it to the list!

Two Rajasthan Hotels Make It To World’s 50 Best Hotels List

The World’s 50 Best Hotels has now announced the extended list for 2026, and this 51-100 list features several hotels from Asia and Europe. But what caught our eye was that two hotels were from Rajasthan.

The Johri from Jaipur ranked 94th on the list. It is an exclusive five-suite boutique hotel set inside a restored 19th-century haveli in Jaipur, India. Each of its suites is named after a gemstone and styled in a matching jewel-toned colour palette. The hotel is considered a blissful retreat and features a cinematic inner courtyard and a lush dining room serving amazing Indian vegetarian cuisine.

Rajasthan’s The Oberoi Udaivilas from Udaipur ranked 98th on the list, and honestly, it’s well-deserved. The place combines grand Mewari palace architecture and features dramatic domes, courtyards, cascading fountains and gleaming white marble walkways. The hotel sits directly on the banks of Lake Pichola, offering stunning views of the City Palace and Jagmandir.
