MasterChef India S1 Winner Pankaj Bhadouria Diagnosed With Breast Cancer; Seeks Fans’ Prayers

Pankaj Bhadouria, the winner of MasterChef India Season One, has now been diagnosed with breast cancer. The celebrity chef took to her official Instagram account to share this news from a hospital bed with her followers. She also requested prayers and support from her fans.

Pankaj Bhadouria, who won the first season of MasterChef India, took to social media to share that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The chef uploaded a photo from a hospital bed in a patient’s gown. The photo still showed Pankaj smiling. The caption under the post read, “I have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Need your prayers and support.” 

Not just that, she also uploaded a story in which she mentioned that all her fans and followers are like extended family to her. Pankaj Bhadouria also requested prayers and support from her fans. She said, “As they say, prayers work miracles. So please keep me in your prayers.”

Fans & Celebrity Chefs Pray For Speedy Recovery

The news prompted heartfelt wishes and prayers from Pankaj Bhadouria’s fans and fellow chefs. Celebrity Chef Amrita Raichand commented, “Please take care, dear Pankaj, praying for your speedy recovery and strength to win this battle smoothly.” Kriti Bhoutika, winner of MasterChef India Season 5, wrote, “Take care, Pankaj aunty. We are all with you.” Her fans also wrote comments like, “We wish you a speedy recovery,” and “Sending you healing vibes and hugs.”

For those of you who don’t know, Pankaj Bhadouria rose to fame after winning the first season of MasterChef India in 2010. She became the first-ever MasterChef winner in India. According to India.com, before entering the culinary world, she worked as an English teacher for 16 years.
