The facility will be available at the ticketing level across stations on this line and has been designed specifically to offer a seamless ticket booking experience to Mumbaikars. MMRC Introduces Free Wi-Fi At Mumbai Metro 3

According to Mid-Day, MMRC received several complaints about weak mobile networks in the underground section of the Aqua Line. Addressing this issue and to make online ticketing smoother and seamless on the MetroConnect3 mobile app, the metro authorities have now launched free Wi-Fi services across Mumbai Metro 3 stations.

According to MMRC, commuters can now access free Wi-Fi at the concourse level of every station, making it easier to book tickets instantly through the app. This will help commuters book tickets easily online and help them avoid the long ticket queues at the stations. MMRC also launched WhatsApp-based ticketing on Mumbai Metro Line 3 recently, and with the free service, commuters will be able to use the service on their mobile phones easily.

Here’s how you can make the most of this free service on Mumbai Metro Line 3 –

1. First and foremost, download and install the MetroConnect3 app.
2. Before entering the station, log in to the app.
3. On your phone’s Wi-Fi settings, select the MetroConnect3 Public Wi-Fi.
4. Next, open the app and go to Profile. There, tap on the ‘Connect to Wi-Fi’ to activate free internet access.

And that’s it, you will be connected to a secure, free, and reliable Wi-Fi network on Mumbai Metro 3 for free, thanks to MMRC.
