We have some disappointing news for rock music lovers. The third edition of Bandland, scheduled to take place on February 14 and 15, 2026, has been cancelled. The rock and alternative music festival cited unforeseen circumstances following the cancellation of English rock band Muse’s India tour.
Bandland 2026 Cancelled Following Muse’s Tour Cancellation
Taking to Instagram, Bandland announced the cancellation of their 2026 edition. They added that all ticket holders will be eligible for a full refund. The much-anticipated rock and alternative music festival was scheduled to take place on February 14 and 15 in Bengaluru.
According to the Instagram post, English rock band Muse, one of the biggest headliners of Bandland 2026, cancelled their upcoming tour due to unforeseen circumstances. The band’s cancellation prompted the festival organisers to also cancel the event.
In a statement, they said, “With the festival just a month away and our commitment to delivering the kind of uncompromised live experience Bandland stands for, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s edition in the interest of preserving the experience we set out to deliver.”

Acknowledging the disappointing news, Bandland 2026 organisers said they were grateful for the “trust, patience and love” people have for the rock festival. As for the ticket, they added that all ticket holders “will be eligible for a full refund, which will be processed within 8–10 working days to the original mode of payment.”
Furthermore, if there were any Bandland add-ons, then rest assured, they all will be refunded as well. “More details will be communicated directly to customers,” the statement added.

As you can imagine, the fans weren’t happy with this decision and urged the organisers to host the festival nevertheless with other artists and participants.
