Norwegian Ambassador Takes A Ride On Delhi Metro
Just like Mumbai’s lifeline means its local trains, the Delhi Metro is the lifeline for Delhiites. It won’t be wrong to say that it is India’s most reliable rapid transit system. Every day, lakhs of people use it to commute across the city. The Delhi Metro is well-connected, which also makes it quite efficient and one of the best alternatives to using private vehicles. Recently, Norwegian ambassador May-Elin Stener also took a ride on the Delhi Metro on a weekend.
She took to her official X account to share videos and photos of her entering the Khan Market metro station and sitting inside the coach. May-Elin Stener was clearly impressed and even shared how “fast, clean and super efficient” the metro is. She also wrote, “It is a fantastic way to get around in Delhi. Should have done this sooner! Will definitely use it again.”
