Indian cuisine is known for its traditional recipes and rich taste and is loved by all. And personally, we believe foodies everywhere shouldn’t miss out on the flavoursome curries from India, as each dish offers a unique regional taste. Even TasteAtlas seems to agree, as its recently released list of the ’10 Best-Rated Curries in the World’ features several popular Indian curries enjoyed across the globe. Take a look!

Curry is a dish made with a flavourful sauce, typically seasoned with a blend of spices. While curries form a major part of Indian cuisine, they are also found in cuisines across Southeast and East Asia. This year, four Indian curries made it to TasteAtlas’s list of the ‘Best-Rated Curries in the World.’ These include Murgh Makhani at third place, Shahi Paneer at fifth, Malai Kofta at sixth, and Keema at tenth.

Out of the list, Murgh Makhani is rated among the top three. Also known as butter chicken, it is one of the most famous Indian dishes. The dish features chicken cooked in a buttery, tomato-based gravy, known for its rich and creamy texture. Originating in Delhi, butter chicken is typically enjoyed with naan and is a must-try for all chicken lovers.

Other Dishes That Made It To The List

Besides Indian curries, several other dishes also made it to the list. The curries from different countries are known for their authentic tastes and flavours. Phanaeng and Khao Soi from Thailand have topped the list in the first and second spots, respectively. Here’s what the list looks like –
