Odisha Picks Chef Ranveer Brar As Brand Ambassador For Odia Cuisine; Here’s What It Means

Celebrity chef Ranveer Brar has now been appointed as the brand ambassador for promoting Odia cuisine. The initiative was taken by the Odisha government to showcase the state’s rich culinary heritage to a global audience and give it a much-needed spotlight among foodies. Ranveer Brar Is Now The Brand Ambassador For Odia Cuisine

In a major boost for Odia cuisine, the renowned Indian celebrity chef Ranveer Brar has now been appointed the brand ambassador for Odisha’s food promotion campaign. This new move aims to take the state’s rich culinary heritage to both national and global platforms. According to Sambad English, the government of Odisha has also decided to entrust MasterChef India finalists Anju and Manju, as well as Season 6 winner Abinas Nayak, to promote traditional Odia food.

Reportedly, a formal agreement regarding this was signed by the state’s Tourism Department in the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi during the recent Odia Paksha celebrations. And yes, Ranveer Brar is quite happy with his new role. He must be feeling honoured to be chosen for this huge responsibility that comes with becoming a brand ambassador for a cuisine.

State Is Known For Some Amazing Culinary Delights

According to Sambad English, Ranveer Brar also emphasised how Odia food should be known across the world, including the sacred Mahaprasad of Lord Jagannath. Moreover, the chef also asked for support from the people of Odisha, both digitally and in real life. The support will actually help him to amplify the reach of this initiative.

You should know that this initiative by the government of Odisha will help showcase the state’s unique food culture globally. Odisha is known for some amazing culinary delights like Dalma, Pakhala Bhata, and Chhena Poda. With Ranveer Brar promoting them, more foodies will feel curious to try these dishes. They might even plan a visit to Odisha for its food!
