Oops, I Left The Iron On! At ₹1 Lakh, Luxury Brand Vetements Sells Shirt With Burn Print

If torn jeans attracted shocked responses from our boomer parents, then the luxury fashion brand Vetements’ latest shirt will! Turning an accident into a fashion statement, Vetements has a white shirt priced at ₹1 lakh. What’s shocking is the print on the pocket— a motif resembling a burn from an iron forgotten to be turned off. Not to be discarded but flaunted instead, Vetements’ iron-burn printed shirt, has already started grabbing eyeballs on the Internet.

Fashion Brand Vetements Sells A Shirt With Iron Burn Print

High-end fashion label Vetements’ latest creation has become a source of online debate. Labelled White Ironing Burn Graphic Shirt, it’s an oversized plain white shirt with a printed graphic near the chest pocket. The graphic is of a burnt iron print resembling an iron mistakenly placed and forgotten to be switched off.

Priced at $1,139 (₹1,03,000 approx.), the shirt has raised eyebrows for its design that can be intentionally recreated at home. The scorch mark left on the fabric when an iron lingers for too long is, simply put, hilarious. Not a mistake made at home, but rather a fashion statement where people would pay a price for it. Hefty one!
