Based in Matunga, Mumbai, it is a popular food brand and manufacturing business known for its ready-to-use South Indian batters and instant mixes. The founders of the brand, Vishwa Jain and Chef Renu Jain, took to Instagram to say, “We never made it to Jalsa (Amitabh Bachchan’s home), but our batters just did!”
They then uploaded glimpses of packing an order for Jaya Bachchan, which included one kg dosa batter and one kg idli batter to be delivered to Jalsa, their residence. The official page of Jain & Iyer also wrote a caption that read, “Every order we receive is special to us, regardless of who it’s for. But every once in a while, there’s a moment that reminds us how far we’ve come.”
