Angry passengers staging protests at airports is something we have all seen in the last few days. IndiGo’s operational troubles have left the entire nation fuming. Now, even celebrities are coming forward to express their disappointment on social media.

Indian singer and composer Rahul Vaidya took to his Instagram story and wrote, ‘IndiGo Airlines, it’s almost impressive how awful you are.’ He also revealed that he spent a whopping ₹4.2 lakh on multiple flights after repeated cancellations. He uploaded images showing Air India boarding passes, too. Rahul also wrote, ‘This is the most expensive domestic travel ever done by me.’

Actress Nia Sharma also expressed her anger on social media and shared that she had to spend approximately ₹54,000 on a last-minute domestic flight. Actor Jay Bhanushali, who was returning from Kainchi Dham, faced an IndiGo cancellation at the last minute. He shared on Instagram that his Pantnagar-Delhi-Mumbai flight was cancelled and he had to drive down to Delhi to catch a 3.20 am flight. He wrote, ‘Thank you, IndiGo, for the unplanned extended trip.’

Actor Aly Goni Calls Out Other Airlines

Indian actor and politician Vijaya Krishna Naresh, known for his work in Telugu cinema, also bashed IndiGo on his official X account. He not only complained about his delayed flight but was frustrated at seeing the worsening situation at the airport. He wrote, “All Indigo flights are delayed. Packed food by then to eat on the flight. Shopping & rush back to see a full-scale battle between the ground crew and passengers. Filth”

Actor Aly Goni also took to Instagram to share his opinion. He said the ongoing operational crisis is the airline’s fault, not the ground staff’s. Aly pointed out that passengers are venting their anger on staff at airports, who are helpless. He also criticised other airlines for doubling fares the moment passengers faced cancellations with IndiGo.
