The DMRC will begin services on all metro lines at 3 in the morning on Republic Day, and here’s everything you need to know.

Delhi Metro Services To Begin At 3 AM On Republic Day

According to NDTV, the DMRC will run metro trains every 15 minutes on all lines from 3 AM to 6 AM on January 26. After that, services will operate as per the regular timetable for the rest of the day. The DMRC also stated that parking facilities at all metro stations will remain open on Republic Day for the convenience of commuters.

Security Enhanced At Namo Bharat Stations

NDTV also reported that the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has enhanced security checks at all Namo Bharat stations along the Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut corridor ahead of Republic Day. Parking facilities at the New Ashok Nagar and Anand Vihar Namo Bharat stations will remain closed until 2 pm on January 26. So, if you’re planning to travel on this route, be sure to keep these restrictions and heightened security checks in mind.
